        As someone who got Lyme’s last year, it’s something that I’ve said I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I’ve changed my mind though, everyone who was a part of the lawsuits that got rid of the vaccine, I hope they all get it.

        There isn't a vaccine because the Old Guard of medical researchers and doctors think this is a one-shot, cureable with antibiotics type of bacteria like strep. For 1 in 100 people or more, it's NOT.

        Studies never showed a direct link between LYMErix and any chronic side effect or serious complication. But patients’ claims about it, and resulting media coverage, were sufficient to make doctors and patients wary.
