“Crazy Rich Asians” offers an extreme example of prosperity, but a study shows that Asian-Americans are the most economically divided racial group in the U.S.https://nyti.ms/2nOoVcm

New York Times are full of idiots. They don’t know that this is a movie. I wonder if they know that there is no captain America. No Iron man. No Thor. What Is the point of this report? Bad mouthing Asians make them happy?

Respectfully, I see your point @nytimes. As an #AsianCanadian, I grew up very far from the movie portrayal. My parents modeled a #hardwork mindset of "if you can walk, you can work." Behind the scenes are decades of extreme family #discipline & resolute #FiscalResponsibility.

Well, the “rich” Asians come over educated and most likely from a family of wealth. Vietnamese are victims of a civil war. Some Asian countries produce doctors and architects, while others are still trying to feed their kids. But no one complains, we play with what we’re dealt.

I guess they also get special privileges too @nytimes @sarahjeong being able to call for the extinction of the white race and view whites as dogs who are in need of castration...or is it just a @nytimes thing supporting racists then apologize for them providing a platform of hate

This is dumb because... 1. All races listed earn well above $40,000 / year. 2. It’s only true when you include Indians who are a very large population size and have a median income over $100,000/ year. 3. Income inequality doesn’t mean a group is actually poor.

Correction : Many Indians and Chinese came here to further their education. Their countries and/or their parents have resources to support their education. People like you are part of the problem regarding racism in America.
