President Trump canceled plans for a military parade in Washington, blaming local officials for inflating costs. DC's mayor pushed back, saying she had “finally got thru” to the president to convey the “realities” of the costs.https://nyti.ms/2BhnMU2

If the DC mayor got through to him I bet it involved pictures, crayons, and short words. She’s probably a mother who has dealt with toddlers.

The entire plan was stupid, wasteful and nothing more than a monument to this man's obscene ego. All those millions would be much better spent on veterans, Flint MI, and PR, not another damn fighter jet!

Gary. He's a 7 year old rescue. We've had him for a month, and he's pretty much taken over the house.

It’s pretty obvious that “reality” is something with which Trump struggles—no surprise someone had to explain it to him 🙄

It took his Wharton business schooling to figure that out. Because he's a GENIUS, working to make America great again. Never mind military doesn't want to march in a damn parade. Let Trump march! Oh, wait. His feet prevented him from serving. My bad.

good. there was no need for a parade it’s a waste of money that can be spent on better things like housing, health care programs that can make change for those who are in need especially for the veterans.
