Gonna save you all some time: this article is less interesting than this tweet would like you to think. He was lying about being having a job & home & such. He was living in a shelter. She broke up w/him after 13 days & then wrote a melodramatic NY Times piece about it. The end.

Wait, does the fact that the guy doesn't have a job and a house means he is a bad person? She needs some empathy if she truly loved him

And that’s why she’s 36 and on Tinder.

I met this guy's female counterpart in Seattle years ago. She was dating a man overseas on the Internet but hadn't told him she was homeless. It's much easier to dress like a veteran and be honest about homelessness than hold onto the goth chic and pretend nothing changed. Fyi.

Is it the liar thing or it’s really the fact that he is homeless and jobless? If he had came out that he’s a founder and ceo of a successful startup i bet the ending would have been different. This was also a loney and homeless man that thought he found love only to be thrown out
