        This has been going on since ratifying the U.S. Constitution, when the compromise was made to count slaves as 3/5 of a human being.

        I'm over it. Social norms have to change. Just bc African decended peoples were the last race to be enslaved doesn't mean that the mentality of marginilization should socially continue. The historic remedy is war, and that is not a welcome alternative in a civilized society.

        The more things change, the more they stay the same. The marginalization continued with concepts like “separate but equal”, then “State’s Rights”. Now we’ve got private schools. The social norms repeated are: We want your money, but you’re 2nd class citizens.
