lol that you think it took capitalism to do this

Well, let's see.. a private enterprise develops a generic product, thus introducing competition into a market. Yup. That's capitalism in its' purest form. What's not? The bueracracy overregulating industry, thus preventing truly free trade. That's pretty socialist, my man.

Lol, you think the US is the only country in the world with a less-expensive epi-pen? Ok then. Go with that.

Less expensive with, at least less, government price-fixing? Absolutely.

It’s taken so long for this country to get a generic EpiPen because big pharmaceutical companies created a monopoly and bought off politicians to make sure their brand was the only one allowed on the market. Price gouging and screwing the consumer is capitalism at its finest.

I'm not arguing thst. Not at all, but that's not capitalism. That's chrony capitalism, which is reliant on Big Government. That's my point. If the government would get out of the way, there would be more room for competition, which drives the market and forces prices down.

What exactly do you think would be different with no regulations? Look at what life was like in this country before things like anti trust laws. The same exact thing happened. The consumer got screwed and the big businesses prospered by creating monopolies.
