        Err actually we are apes. We are not the same species as other apes but we are of the same family of primates. We are hominids or great apes.

        It’s not really news, he came up with a third way, a single celled organism that breathes CO2 and emits O2 which would need a whole new evolutionary branch on Darwin’s tree. An addition to the tree if you like, doesn’t affect what’s already there.
