NYT, could your Editor explain why neither this tweet, nor your title, nor the first three paragraphs of the article use the word “Monsanto”?
-

-
Monsanto technically does not exist anymore. They got bought by Bayer who knew very well what they were getting into for legal liabilities.
-
That’s a second point that you could raise too: paragraph seven reads: > Scott Partridge, a vice president at Monsanto, said in an interview on Wednesday (…)
-
Guess to be fair they are still finalizing the merger. It will be done by the end of September I think. Bayer is exposed to absolute massive liabilities and the EU is WAY WAY WAY more responsible on these issues in holding companies accountable.

5 (five) years ago I called
@GeneralMills & asked them specifically if they included GMO oats in@cheerios. The very nice young lady read me a preprepared statement that basically said that they were refusing to tell us. Now this. Note that my spouse has diabetes and (1 of 2) -
(2 of 2) ...that disease seems to be increasingly linked to GMO (glyphosate ready) foods along with others not the least of which is gluten intolerance. We’re now thinking of contacting the law offices of
@BillMarler in consult. All GM needed to do was tell us the truth. -
There are no GMO oats.
-
Why then didn’t the customer service rep tell me that? Why the obfuscation? The facts represented are: 1. Glyphosate ended up in bowls of cereal & oatmeal. 2. Monsanto’s refusal to be open about its practices & allow independent testing made things worse.
-
I don’t know much about ag science and depend on corporations to hold my family’s safety above any fiduciary interest. At first I hoped the confusion about GMOs could be blamed on ag nerds failing to communicate. Now I’m convinced it was base greed. You can’t eat money.

Actually the lab rats were lab rats. The ones used in toxicity testing of any pesticide regist'd for use in Can, USA and EU. Based on these studies, reg folks determine safe long term doses & then divide that by 100. EWG took that number from what I can tell & ÷ again by 100.

Seriously, is ANY food safe to eat? My daughter, along with every other 1-year-old basically mainlines Cheerios and oatmeals is supposed to be one of the healthiest foods you could possibly eat.
-
Cheerios are safe to eat. This article is junk, the ingredients are “controversial” in the same way chemtrails are.

Well, Monsanto got sold to the
@Bayer company so y’all might want to go after bayer and make sure they discontinue the sale of roundup and etc. -
Why am i not surprised bayer is at the heart of another death dealer study.

The new breakfast check list. Cereal- check! Milk - check! A dash of herbicide- check! What? The most important meal of the day, now the greatest danger to your health? It has come to this.
