When will you start covering an even bigger epidemic? LUNG CANCER kills 433 Americans daily. Every. Single. Day. No risk factors required, especially for relatively young women. WHERE IS THE MEDIA?

I don't think most people know that lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer of both men and women, yet receives less federal research funding than the other major cancers (breast, colon, prostate).

True, but according to the American Lung Association 80-90% is caused by smoking. That is controllable by individuals. Please stop smoking people!

Thank you for demonstrating the stigma faced by lung cancer patients. That stigma keeps federal research funding low which is quite literally killing people. By the way, about 20% w/ LC are never-smokers. Smoker, former smoker, never-smoker: we deserve equitable funding. #lcsm

As a whole cancer funding needs to be dramatically higher, but so does funding into most medical research. trust me; I have a ton of different ailments too. Not to get off topic but imagine if we used some of our defense budget ($690,000,000,000) on medical research instead.

Everyone admits it. Have you tried to get an opioid prescription lately? Doctors are way more restrictive these days.

Big pharma over sold the length of effectiveness of their product. They sold doctors on 12 hour relief of pain rather than the 6 to 8 hours that they are really effective. Lies are lies no matter the product. Try getting off them when you need and get more than prescribed.

I’ll be blunt. I got off the weed years ago and even though I have advanced #COPD I still crave cigarettes all the time. The same goes for opioids. They need the fix. I can always buy a box of Marlboros but they need heroin, fentanayl, and all kinds of crazy shit they get.
