"The Republican Party has shifted," said former Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota. "It is the era of Trump, and I'm just not a Trump-like politician."https://nyti.ms/2nGsFMU

Off-topic posts by Trumpistas highlight the deficiencies of the American educational system. Or maybe it's just bad nutrition, too much beer, and an overdose of Fox News.

If there's a testament to the deficiencies of the various systems of education in the US, it's that people blithely accept the editorial viewpoint of for-profit corporate content producers as truth or fact, and do not question the narrative they are presented. (1/2)

The political and voter apathy that led to the election of the most ill equipped president in history is now acting as the biggest catalyst for the shape up of America's political landscape that the GOP probably hoped would remain dormant....the awakening of the decent majority

I disagree with his statement about not being sufficiently “Trump-like”. Being a Minnesotan and subjected to the election cycle, Pawlenty went straight to attacking illegal immigration. He had lost credibility because of his previous administration.

True that the party has shifted since the Tea Party hijacking, but Pawlenty is Totally Trump-like! His only campaign pitch was to promise to get rid of illegal immigrants which was somehow magically going to reduce our medical bills.
