The USA is a republic, not a theocracy. The founders fled religious persecution and knew the dangers of state sanctioned religion. We accommodate all faiths and beliefs and have the Establishment Clause giving no preference. Separation of State and church is core to American way.

The Constitution is the law, NOT the Bible. Separation of church and state is in the Constitution, it’s called the First Amendment.

Do Americans get to choose which school system they’d like their tax dollars to go to? Can they choose their taxes to assist either public or Catholic schools, as an example? That way the public gets to support whom the use.

Separation of Church and State is a no brainer. If the US govt is going to pay for the repaving of a Missouri church school parking lot then they will have to pay for every parking lot repaving for every religion based school in the US, madrasas, Satanic schools, etc.

Republicans scream against “encroaching Sharia Law”. But because they are so completely ignorant of Western History, so completely ignorant of the Founding Fathers, so completely Hypocritical and Dumb... they want to bring Christian “Sharia” (Biblical) Law to America.

And that’s a problem. This headline reads like he’s some sort of pioneer. This country is built on the separation of these entities. And it shall remain as such. #BlockBrett

Theocratic fascists do not have belief systems that are congruent with that of a constitutional republic. That's why they make terrible justices (and press secretaries). The U.S. is Gilead in less than 10.
