This is why I can't bring myself to oppose the death penalty...

Yes but unfortunately they won’t receive that.

Exactly. People would be shocked to know how many priests are relocated and likely in many parishes around them. It’s truly jarring when put into perspective
-
In our area, we even knew where they relocated them to. That's how we kids knew which priest got in trouble and for what.
-
But than why don’t you raise your voice... if people won’t do anything about it our kids or future generations would be their next prey!!
-
Great question. I have for many years. It’s quite literally why I left the church. I went to their schools, their masses, the full 9. It’s a cult that needs to be stopped and I speak on it ever chance I get.

I agree but its not just a Catholic thing, its an anti-abortion thing, regardless of religion. They care far more about the fetus than the outcome of the child, be it poverty, healthcare, or education. They care far more about the concept than they do the actualities.
-
Very true. But specific point being made here is caring abt fetuses & not about actual children vs caring abt fetuses & not actual children while covering up for sexual abuse in your midst. That is a Catholic thing. Not saying others don't/can't do it, but they seem to be worst.

Why does the Catholic church not get treated as other pedophiles do? They should not be allowed within 500 ft. (or whatever the distance is) of a school. Why have Catholics not renounced this religion? If this is not evil then what is?

I denounced everything they stood for years ago. They can’t be held accountable because the Vatican covers for them and the church itself is basically exempt from any legal prosecution. -
Did you know that there are well over 200 Priests in secular prison? The media conveniently omits reporting this fact, making people believe as you do now Gabrielle. I'm in the Church because of Christ in the Eucharist, not because of the sinners in the Church who sin.
-
I did know but thank you for pointing it out. I respect your ability to choose your faith that’s fine. But 200 is nothing. It’s not being omitted it’s overseen because of the many other issues being brought to light.
-
If you believe in God, it may be better to cultivate that one on one relationship with him and avoid affiliations with churches. The churches today are clearing letting their followers down.
-
Great advice as that’s exactly what I ended up doing. My only issue is with lack of fellowship in my studies. But until I find a suitable place of worship my focus will be on my own relationship with God
-
Also, the majority of these "leaders"will still be here when the rapture occurs, MARK MY WORDS!

-
Oh absolutely. And they will still have a large congregation following them after the fact. We’re warned of a great deception and they are part of it
