President Trump studiously avoided reading the official name of the legislation — which would have meant mentioning John McCain — during the 28-minute speech or during the signing ceremony afterwardhttps://nyti.ms/2nDHNuc

Petty and vindictive. And afraid Senator McCain's name would get more applause than his. That says it all.

I thinks it's funny how Trump, a 5 time Vietnam Draft Dodger can stand in front of our military, and pretend like he is the reason why the American military is great!!!!!

John McCain represents everything that Donald Trump is not and wants to be and thus makes Donald Trump look and feel small and insignificant. For this reason he can’t bear to mention his name and he must try to tear him down to his level, or worse!

So sad that there are people that actually think this petty man is a good president. So little moral fiber.

@SenJohnMcCain and the true patriots are on a completely different level than cry baby @realDonaldTrump . Most folks who didn’t serve for whatever reason (we know why for Trump) always find ways to honor and mention the heroes. @GOP should be ashamed for not calling Trump out.

I wouldn't mention that rino either! McCain is the perfect example of Republican In Name Only (rino)! McCain supports conservative issues on the campaign Trail but when it comes to actually voting for conservative issues that have a chance to win he votes NO! RINO! RINO! RINO!
