“Turkey is the canary in the coal mine,” said one analyst, who had warned of a crisis since 2011. “We are going have another crash that will be worse than 2008 in certain ways.”https://nyti.ms/2MqXKlT

Perhaps Turkey’s projected economic downturn will serve as catalyst for a political revolution. What do you think @florinshehu?

Seems like this will end in a negative tone for the Turkish people, but rather than a revolution I’d like to see a political evolution, with fair elections and just political campaigns where the people would have the right to choose better people in a democratic way. :)

Even though Trump has succeeded so far in lifting the economy to its peaks and the unemployment has fallen to the lowest but i do believe his plans against Europe and Canada and others will lead to economy collapse worser than 2008

Crises in Turkey due to Erdoğan’s ego and stupidity. He hasn’t been listening to experts, just dreaming grand projects instead.Goverment employed people from his cult without checking their skills and capabilities, his son in law Finance minister, daughter consultant to PM etc..

Wiped out entirely by inflation. The economy is booming but wages are not indexed to it so the average citizen will not feel very much.
