There are all kinds of rumors about Paddy Moriarty’s disappearance from a rural Australian town. Was he really fed to a pet crocodile? Could he actually have been baked into a meat pie?https://nyti.ms/2MkTnZe

Hey @Mavericklady6. This story is interesting. The outback sounds dangerous sometimes.

Very creepy! I've done a lot of road trippin & hitchhiking here but not in the Outback. These kind of stories r pretty rare but they def tap in2 our primal fears because these places r so isolated. I think I already mentioned not 2 watch Wolf Creek before an outback trip tho lol

Statistically u r far more likely to be taken out by a farm animal or lighting or a vending machine than a crazy outback serial killer so just think of it that way 😂

Lol. Very true. This story may be creepy but nothing would ever stop me from exploring the Outback anyway. 😂😎

It's definitely a different type of place than most..Not sure if it would be kind of boring haha but I think there's probably some cool natural landscapes & cute little old towns worth exploring

This tweet sounds like the start of a movie made based on old American stereotypes of rural Australia.
