I've been in situations where the person didn't stop doing something, just because I asked nicely. This debate is tough for me. When it comes down to it, I'm more inclined to fall into the Obama camp on this. The solution doesn't occupy the same space as the problem.

"Going high" doesn't mean asking nicely. It's about fighting with all your power but without violence and insults. Because fighting fire with fire is completely ineffective: it only creates more fire.

Not joking around. I 💯 believe it's time to change the requirements for running for President. One of those items needs to be PRIOR EXPERIENCE holding a minimum of years in public office of at least a Governor, Congressman, etc that gives voters a track record to judge them by.

Wldn't even have 2b experience inelected office, but shld have a record of experience & decision making in some capacity. Dealing w/a budget, upholding the Constitution w/adminstration of liberty & justice. The intelligence 2know the difference btw some1 qualified & some1 unfit.

I disagree completely. Nothing in the private sector can prepare someone enough to be President. Nor does it give voters a real look at what they would DO in Govt, not just what they SAY they'd do.

Sounds like he's taking a page out of the Trump play book. He wants to be in a war with our, like it or not, fellow Americans and we are better than that. I don't trust his motives and I'm not listening. Don't quit your day job, Michael.

Here we go. All we needed was another Trump from the opposition. He closes his fists, I pull the knife. He pulls the gun, I pull the shotgun. He pulls the assault rifle, I pull a bazooka. We all pull missiles and bombs and no one pulls anything because there is nothing left.

When they go low, we should not only go higher, but with higher accountability and with fact based realism. Fighting like with like is one thing, but this is starting to look like fame seeking on the coattails of Stormy’s experience.
