Why are there even Catholic hospitals? Do their prayers heal better than others?
-
-
-
Because Catholics care about healing the sick.
-
As opposed to regular doctors/hospitals? We don't need to separate our society any further.
-
Catholic hospitals were started during the Middle Ages, well before the founding of the US.

As opposed to ACA which makes Nuns and women past child bearing age buy pre natal care.
-
How does that compare to people being deprived of their right to self-determination? They won't honor your advance directives, will keep you alive and then bill your family. But you go on with silly comparisons.

That is misleading. Such beliefs should not be something we impose on others;especially in a time of sickness.
-
If you’re offended, then don’t seek care at a catholic hospital.
-
It isn't a matter of choice when there is an emergency. You're terribly flippant about other humans.
-
Oh his much I know that it’s not so much a matter of choice. But I wish her the best on her recovery!

What "procedures"?

They won’t do abortions and elective sterilizations. Pretty much anything else.

Catholics ran everything in the Dark Ages, a Pope was God and govt., took all the gold and money. Later we all had to eat fish on Friday and guard against pedophiles. But everything's just fine in a catholic hospital--as long as you're catholic.

Religion must always be a private matter, check it at the door to work or get another job. This aspect of religious believes are the strongest reasons against both religious schools and care.

Society has a responsibility on those matters,it's not entirely as easy as telling someone not liking the bad education go somewhere else. All schools must live up to a standard.

This happened to me! They denied a friend who wanted to donate her kidney to me six years ago so we had to switch hospitals! I was dying! So much for being Christian! Healthy and celebrating six years on Aug 16!
