HA. HAHAHAHA. Seriously is this the New York Times or the huffington post? I’m a deep voiced white male. Doesn’t mean I get listened to when I speak. I get listened to when I have something worth hearing. If I can deal with it, so can you ✌🏼

If anyone actually bothered to get past the headline and read the article they’d find it’s very good and very true. Any woman in business would agree.

And that's why all the bros on here are making fun of it - a, they didn't read it, and b, they don't care what women think. (Speaking as a bro)

because my voice is high pitched I get talked over way too much and guys who think this isn't true should look around and shut up.

It works on children and dogs also. It sucks, we suck, our biological programming sucks, good luck fighting 70 million years of evolution. Deeper vocalizations mean "larger individual". That conveys authority by implied force. Fight it by actively listening to higher voices.

Testosterone increases physical strength. It also deepens voices. Therefore, deep voices are associated with physical strength. Of course deep voices will command attention. Next.

Everyone who says "nobody listens to me" is one of the nobodies in another person's story of nobody listening. Nobody listens to anyone without motive. And even women listen more to other women who have commanding , louder, deeper voices

Just because your voice is deeper doesn’t mean people listen to you. But it is true that male hormone causes your vocal code to grow, by which your voice gets deeper.

Instead of injecting #testosterone into your body you might try #exercise: you need that blood rushing to you know what, then you might be able to perform.
