A small but vocal portion of Chinese-Americans in California are mobilizing to support candidates that oppose affirmative action in education.https://nyti.ms/2ATtHPa

Would really like your response to this, and to see you try to justify ever talking about matters relating to race again.pic.twitter.com/ZUN1oYB8ZL

Holy shit. I haven’t been following this Sarah Jeong thing that closely. Now I see what the uproar is about. Those tweets are vile. What in the actual hell???

They are opposing discrimination, and they should. Go for it. Good luck.

The words “elite universities” kept coming up. A college degree is the key to opening the door to a career. My daughter graduated from a college with a 75% acceptance rate & now attends grad school with Ivy League graduates. It’s not where u star but where u finish that counts.

In every colonial system Asians have always inserted themselves between Black and white in favour of the whites. Nothing new here.

These are the ones that just came, they were not here when Chinese were treated as third class citizens. They need to talk to the ones who were here before the civil rights laws.

Most schools and colleges rely on taxpayer funding, and these people should remember that black people are also taxpayers.

These people practise abroad or in diaspora the same racism that China is known for. Affirmative action was never about the Chinese, you've come to live in a country built on the backs of slaves. Astonishingly unappreciative. African Americans should boycott Chinese businesses.

We all know what happens when Asians are too successful. Jealous blacks will burn down their businesses, like they did to Korean shop owners during the LA race riots. Crab bucket mentality, pathetic.

This is Deplorable. Black Americans have grandparents that served the military, who could not get senior positions, parents that were water hosed in fight for Civil Rights. Create Diversity Legislation and fight for what you want rather than rip away rights that people died for.
