Kris Kobach, who oversees elections in Kansas, finds himself in charge of a Republican gubernatorial primary that is far too close to call. The candidate holding the razor-thin lead? Kobach himself.https://nyti.ms/2MedB6T

It is ridiculous that he should oversee the recount; that is the equivalent of giving an arsonist a book of matches and thinking he won’t use it. It is a terrible idea, and the fact that he is digging his heels in to oversee this is very telling.

Typical GOP corruption. Sad that it is no longer surprising. Rather, it is the expected.

He refuses to recuse himself. His ethics and integrity (lack of) were already demonstrated over the voting laws and subsequent court cases and the penalties imposed upon him. If he does not step down it is a total banana republic. What a joke.
