Good. It is about time the Government reigns in a company growing because consumers are tripping over themselves to use due to its ridiculous convenience and amazing value. Thank you, Government. Please reign in more awesome and innovative consumer services. #makeAmericaVenezuela

There is an abundance of ride-hail cars because there is poor alternatives to get around. 9th grade economics tells you what happens when you cap supply while ignoring demand.

This is just big government trying to help the dying taxi industry. This will just drive up wait times and costs for everyone. @BilldeBlasio is a moron.

This is why there are "cash" Ubers, which afford no protection to the consumer or the contractor.

Democrats know only two things - tax and regulate. If they were in power when cars were invented, they would have put a ceiling on its production to save the horse carts.

@BilldeBlasio The city now needs to limit volumes of people uber signs up to ride electric bikes for their delivery service. Uber’s greed is making the city unsafe. They over hire then spread the work out so uber completes all deliveries while ensuring noone hits target for bonus
