Germany will turn away some refugees if they first registered in Spain. It's a sign of how much German politics have shifted since 2015, when Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomed more than a million migrants.https://nyti.ms/2KCAITT

Putin’s “white supremacy” doctrine is now spreading throughout Germany and the rest of European Union. The bigger question is why do people fall for it including our Rethuglicans here in the States?

So she threw open the doors, with no mandate from the public to do so&now its proving unpopular she expects all other member states of what is supposed to be a 'trading bloc' to help out. & no one seems to be asking 'why' illegal immigrants have to be 'distributed'

We took in too much and we cant properly take care of everyone on our own and as a Union, we all have to work together to help them. So this is absolutely reasonable

What are Spain going to do with them, they are all in the Schengen zone so they will be able to move freely, or if Spain give them EU Passports they can fly here no questions asked. EU have been dumping on us for years, just look on our streets. Wake up before its too late.

New York Times - so racist, black women are calling you out. Of course, this isn't the first time. This has happened in the 1800's. Just back then, people listened.pic.twitter.com/XpTG8z3Df8

it actually does not show anything like this, but marks rather the return to the regular procedure according to the existing Dublin rules which were not enforced in the state of the summer of 2015. but can now. #precisefactsfirst

Stop. The so called 'Dublin 3' agreement says immigrants have to ask for asylum in the european country where they first arrive. For humanitarian reasons we did otherwise - now we try to go back to a reasonable 'normal'.

Recent UNHCR data shows that, for most refugees, resettlement is not a matter of life and death, weakening emotional appeals about resettlement being a "lifeline". Hence, refugee advocates are trying a new line: Resettlement is a foreign policy tool. https://www.cis.org/Rush/Refugee-Resettlement-Lifeline-or-Foreign-Policy-Tool …

Not really. A very slow but constant positive shift in the working market is beginning to show, and other countries are beginning to understand the potential (besides just actually aligning to the initial Dublin agreement)
