No it isn’t. You can still say whatever you want. Go stand on a corner. Wear a billboard and walk around tourist areas.

I’d feel aggrieved if YouTube, Apple and Facebook all shut down my accounts at the same time (without giving a specific reason). Remember, you don’t have to like or agree with Alex Jones to recognise that he has been unfairly treated.
-
The reason was he called for drag queens to be burned alive. Also, he hasn't been unfairly treated. He's been spreading lies and misinformation and inciting violence for years. That it took this long is ridiculous.
-
Is whatever he’s supposed to have said any worse than the NYT’s outed racist Sarah Jeong, who openly incited violence against the police?https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-08-03/fck-police-nyts-newest-hire-also-hates-cops-and-men-not-just-white-people …
-
Except Jones isn’t banned from Twitter where Jeong made her comments so even if she were a relevant person to drag into this discussion, their treatment is not parallel enough to call double standards on.
-
I feel like it’s entirely relevant — particularly in the context of the NYT employing her and covering this story simultaneously.
-
How so? NYT aren’t the ones “deplatforming” Jones. In fact, by covering this story, they are continuing to give him a large scale platform to spread his voice and awareness of his situation.
-
You make a fair point about covering the story and the effects of doing so, but I feel like they’re risking their credibility by highlighting the Jones story in light of their own scandal.

Note that Alex Jones' own site has similar rules and punishments. From: https://www.infowars.com/terms-of-service/ …pic.twitter.com/KnW8skzzf7

This tweet could have been written in a more credulous and absurd way, I suppose, but not without serious effort

I would like to second Rob's thank you. I was just thinking, 'how is Alex Jones doing and is the piece of shit NYT going to tell us?'

It's surprising that he would spin this into a conspiracy theory. How unlike him.
