Trump has accused California of mismanaging water to fight the wildfires. California officials disagree. "We have plenty of water to fight these wildfires, but let’s be clear: It’s our changing climate that is leading to more severe and destructive fires."https://nyti.ms/2M6SSC0

First a territory… Puerto Rico, and now a state… California. Trump's selective attitude toward Americans suffering natural disasters, based on where they live is obvious.https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1026524292396273664?s=21 …

Governor Jerry Brown must allow the Free Flow of the vast amounts of water coming from the North and foolishly being diverted into the Pacific Ocean. Can be used for fires, farming and everything else. Think of California with plenty of Water - Nice! Fast Federal govt. approvals.

He STILL hasn't mentioned the volcanic eruptions or earthquakes in Hawaii, either. Not once.

I was just in San Diego. Roads are the worst of ANYPLACE I have ever been, and the downtown was pretty gross. Not going back.

Saw this reported on CBS News as well. Let's be clear, though there may not be a water shortage NOW in California, there are plenty of reasons to advocate water conservancy. I daresay had any other person done so, it would have been applauded.

We kinda know things about water and wildfires out here, Alisa. We had a dry winter and do need conservation of *potable* water. There's plenty for fires. No need for advice from the bozo who doesn't understand that rivers flow into oceans and thinks planes are really invisible.

We had the same issues that these foaks are having when we had that massive fire in Alberta a couple of years ago and it takes time to completely put out such a blaze like this, that son of a bitch shouldn't be shitting on those doing their best to fight something like this.

Yeah. I remember. All the water in the world isn't enough without airplane tankers to drop it, night and day, against the actual built up heat of the fire.

Trump is an imbicile. Instead of directing emergency aid and resources to fight the CA wildfires, he carping about water use! THis is not a President we can stand with!
