        In Canada 70% of the elderly that break a hip, die within a year. We all get old, and when we do our bodies weaken, and eventually we die. People who don't spend time w/ the elderly don't get this. Hospitals do a lot more good 4 the elderly than not.

        Thanks &Please follow-up;what are major hospital professionals’ organizations; nurses groups, etc doing 2improve the hospital environmental focus fr patient’s pt of view? Affording healthcare & after seems tenuous these days so there needs to be more attention to this syndrome

        Answer is that they are elderly. By the time they go in, they are in terrible shape. No worry though, US Taxpayers will foot the bill for Medicare

        I’ve paid in for 30 years. But if you’re over 65 and a legal resident for 5 years they get the same Medicare. So it’s a tax to me.
