They were already felons. That’s why it was illegal for them to vote.

The story is curious. Ex felons can not register to vote in the first place.

I question the validity of this account. It has the walkaway hashtag which has been proven to be a Russian smear campaign. This is exactly the kind of rhetoric used to create division in the country. don’t fall for it.pic.twitter.com/3tyGNq3nlA

This headline is so deceptive. They weren't folks that couldn't understand some strange language created to confuse them. They chose to be ignorant of basic law & were caught. These are not victims. But at least they're not white. Right @sarahjeong ?

In Ohio more ID is required for using a credit card to purchase groceries (photo ID) than to vote (copy of, say, electric bill showing address). He's right, you're wrong.

What a crock. I’ve lived in Ohio for forty years and have never been asked for ID to buy groceries. Never. Since we swipe our own cards, where the hell are you shopping?

I've lived and worked in OH all my life and NEVER had to show I.D. to purchase groceries, clothes, or furniture! Amazing how people suck up the garbage they're told by 45. SMH

Lots of people use a credit card. With some stores once they know me I don't have to show it, but always, always, the first time. Some stores check every time as policy. Figure it out.
