Another case of foreign media trying to second-guess decisions made in Africa. Leave our leadership alone - you have your own politicians to report on. You rarely report good about African leaders anyway so rather focus on NY.

These allegations have been in the public since/before the ANC EC in Nasrec...nothing new here. Suggesting that
@nytimes is “second-guessing decisions” is jingoism. Read up on the stories back-dated 2011 about Mabuza leadership as Mpumalanga Premier.Have an educated opinion

Maybe South Africa should stop turning a blind eye to the persecution of its white people (though I'm sure the New York Times would love for this practice to continue).

So apartheid wasn't bad thing, who knew
-
The bad thing about it is that we were oppressed as black people and secluded,so that apartheid government ensured that white people received the best,so now this current government doesn't care about us at all and they only remember us when it's election time.

Corruption will never end in South Africa there is a huge problem and no one is prepared to do anything about it, it's all just talk. Wishful thinking
-
Disagree. He is a great president. South Africa showed that they are progressive and forward thinking when they elected him
-
What has he done? He increase VAT we know that but what has he done already to show this progress. He got South Africa into more debt?
-
They showed how progressive they are when they elected a person of color to head this African nation
-
Let's talk about this year only
