What the heck is Natasha babbling about? Do she suffer a chip on your shoulder? What’s “Latina” got to do with your appearance!? Get a grip.

Should the NYT publish any race-related articles anymore, after hiring Sarah Jeong? Any credibility you once had is now completely dead.

People commenting on all sorts of irrelevant arguments (well besides the point of the article), your level of reading and comprehension is worrisome.
Moving on.
As a Latina, who identifies herself as a 'Caribbean girl,' especially in Europe, I totally get Natasha's piece. -
We read it. The NYT now has serious credibility issues writing on race and gender with the hiring of a proven bigot on their editorial staff...it matters.
-
I'd be the first one to bash a racist editorial piece, if/when I see/read it. Just because this article was about race, it doesn't mean the newspaper is racist. I'm sure the editorial board has big enough balls to call anyone out on racist content. It's the NYT, not Fox.
