Under his leadership, children drowned in dilapidated school pit toilets and millions of dollars in badly needed education funding went missing. So how did this man become South Africa's deputy president?https://nyti.ms/2AIcbxa

By killing white people and forceably taking their land. Interesting. Now i see why you reported this story with certain bias. I have a friend living there that says the country is becoming poor because of these violent actions. Like the FrenchRevolution

It was really more civilized killing black people for fun & having a braai next to corpse burning. South African whites are pathetic.

Yes there were isolated crimes. The ANC is responsible for more than 20000 murders, many by necklace.

Do you really believe white people can come out & says yes i supported apartheid, here are the stats of people we killed. Ask the victims just go to the townships.

I also worked with ex-MK and APLA members. I know of the abuse they had in their camps in exile too. I also find that people from other African countries have little time for SA's Bantu people.

South Africa has always lived in unstable times, the children deserve so much more... and the sad thing is they actually appreciate access to education unlike most of the spoiled 1st world kids. 🇿🇦❤️

Hey man didn’t mean to offend you. You’ve stated some interesting figures about SA... so are the teachers at fault here then? Ultimately they should be setting a good example to the children, am I right? What are your views on the matter?

I would also like to mention that my opinion which is stated in the original tweet is merely an outsiders point of view... but then again I suppose things never appear clearly from a distance.

Oh please NYT! You know exactly how and why this happened. S. Africa is going to hell in a hand basket. And the whole world is watching as it happens. All because of revenge... Two wrongs don't make a right, and they are finding that out slowly but surely.

In the last 30 years, S. Afrca's GDP decreased by 1/3. It went from being one of the world's wealthiest countries to being a third-world country. This is true for many former colonies. Hence, citizens of former colonies now flee to the homelands of their former colonial masters.

In fact, many former colonies have less wealth & freedom than when they were colonies & are much more corrupt today. In speaking w/many Nigerians in Europe, several said that they'd go back only if it were re-colonized by the Brits. It was efficient, safer, & less corrupt then.
