You must dismiss Sarah Jeong for all of her disgusting racist tweets and comments. She is just a terrible person.
Are you saying politics are so lame they can't add more values than FB posts? If Facebook is your reference for influence, you get what you deserve.
The left don’t need fake Facebook accounts when they’ve got CNN and nyt shilling hysterically on their behalf against the GOP and Trump
But is this a crime? It just seems silly to me...
It is a crime for foreigners to interfere with our political processes. If this was done by citizens on behalf of foreign interests, that too is a crime. Since Trump is clearly deeply entangled with the Russian government, it is probably a crime for his re-election campaign.
that's all very vague. it doesn't explain how a bunch of people putting out facebook ads for causes they might not have really supported is criminal. what laws exactly? if i write a post saying VoteTrump and I don't mean it, (I would never mean it) is that a crime?
If you were an agent for a foreign government, that would be against the law
But if the foreign agent isn't in America, then how would our laws apply? If I'm a Russian in Russia following Russian law, that should be the end of it. No? i just feel that there is so much wrong with what Trump's doing that we shouldn't be grasping at straws like this
It is against US law. It doesn't matter where you're from. You may not go to jail but you can be tried and convicted. The rule of law isn't grasping at straws. It exists without concern regarding grasping or anything else. That's why it's important.
But the rule of law includes jurisdiction, no? I don't know how you can say that American law must be obeyed outside of America. i certainly wouldn't want Saudi Arabian law applying to me here in the States, right?
This is what ignorant, uneducated people who can't think for themselves do when they lack the intelligence to respond to your point. I pity you, Alessia. Ignorance is a choice, sister, and I hope you choose to get some education!
