I can’t fly with a bottle of water I brought from home, and we’re having a f-ing discussion about this? Come on people.

However, according to NBC news, the creator has already posted the blueprints online saying the cat's already out of the bag.

This is just nuts. Once online blueprints can be downloaded and printed anywhere. We have strict gun laws. How are they going to restrict this to just the US? Do we now have to worry that someone with a 3D printer could access and print from these?

That’s exactly the case. The only effective gun laws now are after the fact, we can’t stop people making their own. Right now they’re one shot and unreliable, but they’ll get, dare I say, better.

Undetectable? These guns don't shoot plastic bullets or pebbles. Plus, there's no way you can make a gun out of 100% plastic. Unless you somehow create a resin as strong as metal, plastic guns are just about as detectable as metal ones. At home printing is deffs a bad idea tho

YES. But there are ways to hide bullets, separateit. Already been done. This smacks in the face of RESPONSIBLE & LEGITIMATE GUN OWNERSHIP. The technology will get better and meet demands of the WRONG PEOPLE.

Absolutely. It's already pretty damn difficult to build a reliable DIY firearm. Being able to download and print gun parts might make it easier. But criminals already don't follow laws so I don't know what's already stopping them. The possible advance of technology is concerning

Dunno either...but, let's not make it easier. I am for RESPONSIBLE & Legal gun ownership. This does away with that. I don't even want to think about the consequences. We will reap what we sow in this country.

I’m 2A all day. It’s why I voted Trump. But I definitely believe the intelligent thing to do is perform more research and investigation into this before we would allow. The fallout could be catastrophic.

I think DT maybe be a 3D printed version of a human being. Somewhere in a basement in the Deep South is an uneducated swamp moss farmer polishing his guns. He’s the original. But they copied him too much and entropy set in. We got the end of the run model🤪
