Here’s our response to @facebook’s attempt to undermine our ability to organize by shutting down our legitimate event for our counter protest of the ‘Unite the Right 2’ Rally Aug 12 in DC. #DefendDC http://shutitdowndc.org/press.html  @shutitdowndc @ResistsThis @HUResist @SURJ_DC

Yes, indeed. @nytimes - whoever picked the preview image for this story needs a talking-to. 🤔

They found 17 profiles. I've found that many bogus profiles in a handful of threads over the last 3 days. Step it up Facebook!

We ALL need to research any political articles (and especially Memes) through multiple sources before just spreading them by posting them. Otherwise WE are part of the problem!

The extremist accounts, both Left and Right, are particularly effective at driving and activating people towards hate issues because many people seem unable to *motivate* themselves to vote unless they feel passionately against something or someone.

Most wildly popular real accounts operate similarly to the fake ones. They are often devoted to one particular issue. Not the positive side of an issue, but the hate side. Their followers are not passive readers, but rather an army of rapid re-tweeters and commenters. 2/

We don't care. Conservatives, we have to vote our hearts out. It's painstaking to cast votes for Rhinos my brethren but what can we do? Wouldn't you prefer a Rhino to an anti-American, pro-islamist, pro-illegal agenda? #MAGA @realDonaldTrump

I’ve never had a Facebook account. I’m not that curious about what other people are doing and have no respect for anyone who gives a shit what I’m up to. This is the first time my misanthropy has really worked for me.
