His mother ran toward him, her heart racing. "I cried and hugged him — but he didn't even care. He stood there frozen," she recalled.https://nyti.ms/2OvzoW0

The actions of this government toward these children has been barbaric and purposeful TORTURE plain and simple. Separation from parents, instructing staff members to keep children at arms length, unable to touch one another it’s all inhumane!!!

They do not see brown babies in the same light as white ones. The truth is grotesque, and we want to turn our faces away from it, but there it is.

You have to be responsible for what happens to your child. How could you have risked the safety of your child in the name and excuse of greener pastures? @realDonaldTrump is responsible for protecting Americans. And a mother for protecting her son.

It wasn't"greener pastures" it was running for their lives! They want a future for their children not death. It's quite different sir.

So you want everyone to run to your borders? Then change the immigration laws, make it flexible for people in dangerous circumstances to be able to apply legally in their home country and have a chance. Getting an American Visa is almost becoming an impossible venture.

"In dangerous circumstances to apply legally" - do you not understand, if their gov't is corrupt NO ONE can apply legally.

Children are being traumatized for life but to you it's an interesting conversation? These are human beings. Seeking asylum is not a crime. Fleeing violence to save your children is not a crime. What this country is doing to these families is certainly a crime against humanity.
