The proposed $100 billion bullet train to connect LA to San Francisco is the most ambitious public transportation project in the country, and it has already started development. The question that remains is: Will it ever be completed?https://nyti.ms/2Aq3pnn

They said the same thing about BART. I remember the day they started tearing up Market St to start building it. They said the same thing, it’s too ambitious, under the bay? No fing way, too scary. This was in ‘67, when was Bart completed?

Japan relocated many of its citizens, compensating them with land. China just bulldozed everything. CA: "In total, there are about 91 miles of rail above ground that involve shared track or right of way that will restrict speeds...Even that speed is questionable." LA Times

Not to mention the fact that this money should go to improving and expanding existing infrastructure that desperately needs it.

No and it should be shut down. It's not what we voted for, at all. Too expensive, will never work financially if it ever was completed, won't be as fast as promised in the proposition. A disaster and huge waste of money. Kill it now.

You should spend your time worrying about whether the Noo Yawk subways will ever get fixed and butt out of our business in California. Seriously.
