The Hill is reporting that the WH asked that the meeting be off the record. Then the Odious Taint tweeted about it this morning, and lied about the substance of it. How long, lord, how long?

U would not be "enemy" of the people if U ceased printing false stories based on "anonymous" (i.e. made up) sources, gossip, & innuendo. U have brought disdain on yourselves. U shout abt importance of "free" press, but ignore importance of "honest" press. attn: @realDonaldTrump

Hire unbiased journalists, maybe even some republicans, then you can regain some trust.

@SpeakerRyan @NancyPelosi @SenSchumer @SenateMajLdr It’s time for the Congress to stop abdicating it’s role as a constitutional check to the President to everyone from the people, courts and press. Congress should pass a resolution in support of the free press upon its return.

Remember when news was respect? Since donald we are to believe it’s all fake. Nope sorry, I will believe them ( FOX news not included) before I believe anything that comes from him.

Trump speaking about it shows you exactly how much good it did. None. I hear Sulzbergers words but let’s see it in his paper. 😉 I’m a subscriber.

Sulzbergers are NOT the controlling interest owners of the New York Times. $Billionaire Mexican FOREIGN NATIONAL Carlos Slim is the owner and he has Sulzbergers on a leash. Carlos is 1000X more dangerous to America than Putin.pic.twitter.com/zwc4HMKYbj

Slim is a dangerous character. I’m taking EVERYTHING with a bit of skepticism these days. It’s all going to be propaganda from one direction or another. Thx for the info.

I suspect if NYT, Wash Post, CNN, NBC would stop lying about POTUS, stop slanting news against him, stop ignoring his accomplishments and report instead on false contexts of what he said, then call their own forgery his lie, then just maybe, perhaps, criticism stops?

This is what happens when you try to rationalize evil. It blows up in your face every time. Evil must be confronted - not "worked with" or "understood". Now that you've had your Neville Chamberlain moment get back to real journalism - and get rid of Maggie.
