Muslim children were repeatedly warned about their clothing at a Delaware pool, leading to a mayoral apology and a city investigationhttps://nyti.ms/2NQZqlG

So once again they bow to the Muslims! People don’t have to assimilate anymore because you’re so eager to make them feel at home and comfortable while giving away our country! Stop changing to make them happy! They need to be the ones to change!

Tolerance must be learned! Red heads have been covering up in pools forever! You don’t kick them out! Let people be and learn why they do what they do instead of forcing them to adhere to your way!

I don't think tolerance must be learned. Kids have it naturally they don't care if you are white brown black or yellow as long as you play. It is the intolerance that should NOT be learned. The only thing kids don't like is naps.

Open up a Muslim pool and move on. People had rather be around their own kind.

So you can't ever assume they Warn them for their own safety ? Loose Drag clothing around the head for any new swimmers could be a dragging hazard and can become heavy the longer you swim in the water.

Not at all, my point was that I hope Dylan has the same standpoint on a group of individuals who also violate this so called public pool dress code.

What is with the public pool patrol lately? I swear, people are touched by things they really shouldn’t even care about 🙄

Public pool I grew up in banned cotton clothes for the last 50 years, hygiene issue. It also banned t-shirts and loose clothing as a drowning hazard. Basically required swimsuits only. Maybe sometimes you have to sacrifice for your own beliefs, not force others to?

many children have to wear t shirts while swimming, to reduce the risk of skin cancer, if they have pale skin

There are cotton free swim shirts for just that problem. My nephew wore one for years. Semi tight so as not to cause a drowning risk & made from cloth that doesn't hold sweat. Those meet standards set by the public pools but won't satisfy the modesty needs of these people.
