The Trump tax cuts were supposed to mobilize Republican voters and help the party keep the House. But that's not how things are playing out on the campaign trail.https://nyti.ms/2LMdcZc

Maybe because the tax cuts weren't designed to help working Americans. Just a thought.

People aren’t stupid. Wages are down and the rich get richer. Less protection in the workplace. More $ for corporations.

I wish people would stop calling it “tax cuts.” I’m already struggling and my taxes are higher this year. I saw no cut, and according to the tax calculator, I’m going to owe in April (for the first time in 5+ years). For me, it’s a $5k tax increase that I can’t afford.

To clarify, it's a deficit-funded transfer of wealth that doesn't help the vast majority of Americans. What little help it may have been will be eroded by new taxes (tariffs), higher prices, and cuts to Medicare and Social Security. That's some deal.

Tax cuts were for the corps and the top 1%. Wages for the majority have increased .3%, fuel and consumer product prices have increased +5% and now with tariffs, factories in northern Indiana are laying off and grain bins will be overflowing. The 12B taxpayer bail out is useless.

By booming you mean annual gdp average of just 1.5% & the first POTUS never to hit 3% annual? Trumps already at 2.8% Another good report next qrtr will push it to 3%+. 3%+ annual GDP & the tax cuts pay for themselves. When he wins the trade war, the numbers will be even better.

To democrats, paying more in taxes, growing poverty and building a BIG bloated government that doesn’t work for anyone except billion dollar corporations is a winning ticket. That’s the democrat way!
