What a ridiculously inappropriate article. Our hearts are supposed to bleed for a terrorist? Why don't you put your journalistic talent to good use and write something about the 911 families and how their lives were changed forever. Boo hoo, a terrorist had a tough time in prison

He was picked up by an invading force. Imprisoned without due process for over a decade. And even with the lowest bar possible there was no proof he participated in any terrorist activities. Would you rather the nyt does another feature on Nazi sympathizers?

Awww poor terrorist! Liberals should rush to defend him ASAP, every potential vote counts and who knows - maybe something incredible happens and islamic community appreciates liberal kindness towards terrorists.

Dating advice for the young terrorist: 1. Deodorant is a must; 2. Don't threaten to decapitate on the 1st date - that comes across as too forward; 3. When all else fails, you have all the virgins waiting on you when you kick the bucket.
