He was Dow Chemical's "dioxin lawyer." Now he's President Trump's pick to run the EPA's Superfund toxic cleanup program.https://nyti.ms/2LFWwCG

The running joke of Trump appointees being hilariously unqualified for their positions is just ****ing depressing. This guy has made a career of working in DIRECT OPPOSITION to the agency he’s been nominated to lead! You can’t write this stuff. Well, I guess Zemeckis can...pic.twitter.com/zTAbI7dnEr

Bush did the same thing too. Check out Thomas Frank’s excellent book The Wrecking Ball. TLDR; conservatives appointing heads of agencies who fundamentally do not believe in that agency’s mission is par for the course and helps them say “government doesn’t work!”

America will be a giant Love Canal by the time toxic Trump and his industry cronies are done with it. I hope Trump voters are prepared for themselves and their children to be poisoned, they voted for this dumpster fire of a "presidency". ☠️☠️☠️ #MAGA #TrumpTrain

Tragic. This Administration knows no shame. They openly place the enemies of our environment in charge of protecting it. They will poison Americans for profit and never give it a second thought as they live in their gold plated gated communities.
