If it was my daughter this had happened to I do not know how I'd cope. Do I comfort her first .... or do I kill everyone who did this. It's so F*cked up.

The shock I would feel of finding out this had happened, one would blame themselves for not been aware of it. The daughters spirit would be broken, the mother would be ashamed at how helpless she was. So easy to be objective when one is not directly affected. Most upsetting

India has so many issues which is just mind boggling. The disrespect, attitude and abuse towards women, and the mob violence on innocent people. I just don't understand why it is happening in a country that has a lot of potential

So because she has a physical and possibly a mental disability, it’s suddenly HER fault. This poor girl is even MORE vulnerable. Not less.

India may be the focus of this story but it happens everywhere in the world. Girls and women who are sexually assaulted are often blamed and men’s behaviour is minimized or excused.Society, especially other men need to call out this behaviour and hold perpetrators accountable.
