Where we renamed you if it was complicated to spell, stripped everyone down for checks and sent most away anyway, great comparison, totally not hyperbole

Except that at Ellis Island all you had to do was prove you were not sick and could earn a living and then boom....welcome to America! 🇺🇸

Thank you. So many people say that is a difference between what happens now at our southern border is so different than Ellis Island because these people came in legally. And incorrect comparison.

The corrupt NYT playing the semantics game as usual! My Mother came through Ellis Island...LEGALLY! WHAT IS HAPPENING IN TEXAS IS A COUP! THEY ARE NOT MIGRANTS, THEY ARE ILLEGAL INVADERS! THIS IS A NEO-COLONIALIST COUP AKIN TO WHAT RUSSIA DID TO UKRAINE!

Did you ever ask yourself why America is the only destination for, "many fleeing violence and poverty?" The world needs to share in this problem.

Pretty sure most of the Ellis island immigrants didn’t run back to Eastern Europe or Italy when they commit a serious crime like our recent immigrants from Central America do

I'm moved to tears by these saintly people. I understand there are 32 million of them, and America should open her arms to each and every unique soul.

They need to stay in their countries and enact change there. We can't take in every p**sy who won't stay and fight for themselves.

Okay. Let's have an adult conversation. How did you end up in the United States of America? What is your ancestry? How are countries formed? Who's laws do you obey?

you are not native to this continent. This country was not discovered; people were already here. White people came and brought desease and killed off many natives. End of story.
