The world is not "increasing dangerous". It is less dangerous year after year. People think it is dangerous because every kidnapping etc is splashed all over the news. You have been scared into irrational fear

She had a warrant out for her arrest. She kind of had to care.

If you don't watch them, they'll be eaten by coyotes. Like my twins Beckson and Dampy were in Traverse City, Michigan.

I remember frequently sitting in the car, reading, while one of my parents paid a bill or picked up milk - even once when my sister had a doctor's appointment. The fact that sensible behavior is seen as criminal based on an observer's emotions makes me concerned for kids today.
-
I used to work for child protective services, people need to watch their kids. Costing all of us a lot in taxes and medical bills. Most of our cases were unsupervised kids getting hurt. cute story though

Balance is everything. Don’t be a parent that is practically nonexistent, but don’t be a helicopter parent. Balance... is key.

One mom was arrested when her 9 year old when to the park while mom was at work. That decision- can my kid go to the park- should be based on fear of strangers (is it safe?) not “will I get arrested for it?”

Clickbait. I'll pass.
-
It is not clickbait; mothers around the country are being penalized by the good protection system, police, etc., for "offenses" like leaving their children in the car for five minutes.
-
A lot can happen in five minutes.
-
As the article points out, your child is at far greater risk while you drive to the supermarket than in the parking lot
-
In the time it took you to find that image you could have read the article and understood why it was irrelevant, but I suppose that wouldn't allow you to feel superior.
