The new tax law was supposed to mobilize Republican voters and help the party keep the House, but that's not how it is playing out on the campaign trailhttps://nyti.ms/2NQs7ir

Middle America saw that money go right past their house and into the front door of the mansion in the nicer neighborhood. They are thankful they can work all 3 of the jobs they have but fear the future should they stumble with a car repair.

How is it booming when dear leader keeps putting people out of work? The moron is clueless about how the economy works. Now we have to bail out farmers???

What evidence is there that trickle down economics works? GOP tax cuts have only benefited shareholders of large corporations who have taken the bulk of the tax cuts and bought back shares. The few incidents of bonuses to workers have been purely for the purpose of optics.

perhaps because wages are down and have been suppressed for years. It is not great to brag about how good "business" is when people don't see it in their paycheck. Lots of us are still waiting for Reagan's "trickle down." @RWartzman

There's more to life than tax cuts. Republicans can't govern.

Because the tax cut was only for the rich and they get boed everytime they mention it.

Perhaps because the new tax law actually benefits very few wealthy people and large companies? Nah, let’s not allow facts to get in the way of a good story.

#TrumpObama Trump inherited good economy from Obama, but he is on his way to ruin it with tariff wars and tax cuts for the rich if he keeps on the trail of making devastating decisions, welcoming Putin's ongoing interference to make America chaotic again and again

#FakeNews! 4.1% gdp growth! We averaged like 1.5% under obama. Lowest black, Hispanic, women unemployment in history. 52 billion improvement in trade deficit. EU trade concessions. Millions of jobs. Record growth and confidence! Trumps economy is BOOMING! Failing NYT is #FakeNews
