They also said that if he wanted them to remember his actual name, he shouldn’t wear his turban. Well, I can guarantee them that I’ll remember his name, and not theirs, for many years to come.

Suspended for only 10 Days? They should be fired and thrown out of NJ.

Aayaah a turban man is a turban man. In India that's how we call it as it is. Don't make a fuss over nothing we don't care.

Ok, I didnt hear the show (or care to) but just the term "turban man" is grounds for firing? The dude wears a turban. If he had orange hair and was called orange hair man no one would care. And yes, i know its a religious/ethnic head garment, point is so what

Its more about the context: they also said during the show that if he didn’t want to be referred to as turban man he shouldn’t wear one. Implying if he didn’t they would remember his name? And there’s the history, in a time where Sikhs are attacked for their turbans its not ok.

As radio hosts, it is part of their job to understand and be aware of what a "Sikh" really stands for. People working in the media cannot afford to say "I don't know". In case you don't know then don't make remarks that are offensive only to create a sound byte.

This is flat out hate speech by employees while on duty. I remember, before republicans embraced and emboldened vile and sinister racism, when this was simply not tolerated by any business. Compassionate conservatism? Give me a break, this is all they have, racist hatred.
