Imran Khan said he would seek a "mutually beneficial" relationship with the United States and create a just welfare state along the lines of what the Prophet Muhammad did centuries agohttps://nyti.ms/2Oms13e

Welfare is only a bad word in the US (bc of Reagan et al). The rest of the world views a government that ensures the 'welfare' of its people (healthcare, education, standard of living, etc.) as a GOOD thing. Government ensures welfare of people = welfare state.

According to United States " mutually beneficial" : What we(USA) want, what we need, what we say it is " mutually beneficial", another countries opinion isn't important. Mr. President Khan you will feel "Platonic love" about Usa relationship 🤘

Now, will the world #media dissect him his #islamist ambitions and bigotry the way they pounce on #israel? Perhaps not because there seems to be an anti Jewish #antisemitic agenda when it comes to #Israel and a pro #Muslim thread-is it out of appeasement?

Interesting how NYT refers to Mohammad as “prophet” but doesn’t refer to Jesus as “our lord and savior”.
