If domestic violence is THAT common that you need something like this...well, shouldn’t you do more to actually STOP it? This is kinda crazy.

We're trying

How about giving them a gun so they don’t get beat up by their significant others? Libs: here’s a piece of paper to keep your abuser away. Surprisingly, woman gets beat up anyway. Libs: take 10 days off on us.

-
A woman once fired a warning shot at her husband who abused her. She was arrested and is still prison. This is a state in America that has the stand your ground law. Giving the victim a gun means the abuser has a gun, which isn’t good. I’m sorry but this is bad logic.
-
Got a source on that?

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/07/us/marissa-alexander-released-stand-your-ground.html … https://www.cbsnews.com/news/fla-mom-gets-20-years-for-firing-warning-shots/ … the second one is from 2013 around when she was first sentenced and she appealed citing the stand your ground law

Interesting read, seems to be a case of technicalities where it's a your word v theirs but the only evidence is the gunshot. Kind of sucks but its a legality issue in all countries. I live in the UK where you cant even fight a thief in your own home if you catch them red handed
-
Yeah it’s a bit odd to have a law where you can protect yourself with a gun but then in the end you’re not protected. Some have issues about who gets a pass with it, such as recently when a man was shot in front of his children and the shooter cited it because he was pushed

You saying “my wife is being a bitch” doesn’t sound like the psychological abuse you are preaching about. It sounds like she is simply upset. But instead of working the situation out just blame feminism, that’ll fix everything

Marriage isn’t always the happy experience it is supposed to be. When it goes to the point of serious emotional abuse confront her about it. Communication is key. If things don’t improve, go to a marriage counselor for help.
