The federal budget deficit is growing much faster than economists had predicted. The reason is President Trump's tax cuts. https://nyti.ms/2Abnw8v pic.twitter.com/lmSQeUPHFd

I am shocked — SHOCKED! — to discover that starving the treasury of tax revenue would increase the deficit.

Correction: The reason for the increase in the deficit is @SpeakerRyan (self professed 'Deficit Hawk) and @SenateMajLdr McConnell (greedy Treason Turtle) passed the @GOP #TaxScamBill.

And the ballooning deficit gives the Republicans and Trump perfect cover to gut healthcare, food assistance, and other human service funding.

Yep, that was by design. It's almost as if Paul Ryan's faux concern over the deficit was just an excuse to fulfill his life long dream of screwing over poor people.

GOP knows they're doomed, so they're pillaging the economy while they can, leaving the mess for the rest of us to clean up.

This is how the Republicans dismantle social security and medicaid. Run up the debt, use debt as an excuse to cut gov programs. If the Democrats win back gov control they will have to raise taxes to get everything back on track and the right will claim theft to rally their base.

We'll as always, will need to wait for the next democrat president to get the deficit down and strengthen the economy. Happens like clock work every cycle. You wouldn't know it if you listened to your cult @GOP or the deplorables voting for @realDonaldTrump biggest scam around.
