Thanks you for paying attention to our country but, I want to confirm this did not happen in all our coast. To this day República Dominicana maintain Its main beaches very beautiful and clean. We certainly had a lesson that left us with an opportunity to improve.pic.twitter.com/SaMRAwlkJC

At this rate, we need to ban plastic and any other crap that will worsen our Earth. THIS is the price to pay for convenience and practically, our beautiful oceans and innocent creatures are paying the ultimate price 💔

This has been a problem for decades, but we’ve ignored it because it has had little impact on us....until now. I’m glad this is happening, because maybe now there will finally be enough support to do something about it.

Many cruiser lines throw their garbage to the sea without boundaries too. This is really sad.

Been on several cruises, and have never seen them dump the garbage in the water. However, have seen trucks at the ports to take the garbage off the ships. But that’s not convenient to say, is it.

Have you ever actually been there? I have. There are many areas, especially along the coasts, that are quite beautiful.

My parents told me that a fun thing to do on a cruise in the 70s was watch the hundreds of plastic garbage bags being dumped directly into the expansive water in the evenings at sea. “We didn’t think anything of it,” confesses Mom. Whelp, here we are, kids: eating where we shat.
