It’s been a year since the rollout of a subway rescue plan, but on-time rates remain at the worst level since the 1970s transit crisishttps://nyti.ms/2LkxJEQ

Anyone think that maybe it has something to to do with incompetence?

I have to wonder what portion of the $300+ Million went to those magic wand things that Cuomo ordered that was supposed to "revolutionize" the system went towards this.

It’s a complete mess, typically not even worth wasting the fare on the weekends. But didn’t we stop trusting anything the MTA said with that scandalous “Psych!: we cooked the books” fare hike a decade ago?

The subways are also filthy. Check out the D.C. subway system to see how great a subway can be.

Just privatize the subway, and remove all subsidies. Subway workers make much too much.

Then what are these people good for if they can't get even the basics right. Looks intentional to me. Get them all out and put in anew crew otherwise you will get the same result

The subways are practically unusable on weekends. I can't tell you how many times I gave up, walked out on my fare and called Uber or Lyft. The taxis are a mess; broken shocks and frightening driving. Transportation is what makes a city.
