There should be a signed affidavit of consent before any sexual activity.

An app that requires both parties to enter a pin. Does that already exist?

Yes, but also it takes 4 seconds to ask "are you ok?" "Do you want to stop?" Etc

This is ridiculous. If a guy says "I'll hurt you or fire you unless you consent" that's clearly extorted. But if they're out on a date & a woman consents without any threat to compel her we have to treat that as consent. Otherwise it's infantilizing them.

What? How does teaching kids that sex should be shared, not taken, infantilize anyone? Don't have sex with someone unless you care whether or not they're into it. Because that would be using them, and that's rude, not an achievement.

At some point the NYT is going to advocate "why not get married before having sex?" and the cycle will be complete.

because that idea is idiotic if people are not sexually compatible there is a 100% that marriage will fail badly

... there are literally millions of arranged marriages that turn out just fine. There are also still many people who DO wait for marriage before having sex. I wonder what percentage of people who wait end up divorced vs people who don't.

1 don't wonder take 5 sec and find out - Many young people who wait to have sex until married traditionally get married younger, but statistics show this leads to higher divorce rates and unhappier marriages. As shown in a report by Family Studies,

I really wouldn't call that "waiting". If people get married younger because they can't wait for sex, it will obviously end badly. True waiting would be to wait for the right person, get to know them, then get married and then have sex. Sex should never be top priority.
